Carbon Insight can be hosted either Online (Software as a Service), or as an On-Premise solution (perpetual license).
Online
(Software as a Service)
Carbon Insight is deployed as a Software as a Service (SaaS) and is made available over the internet via annual subscription, on a per user basis.
Under the SaaS model, the software is not required to be installed on your IT infrastructure, it is hosted on your behalf with all data held securely and backed-up according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Deployment is instantaneous and enables ongoing updates and maintenance to occur with no impact on your business’ IT.
Organisations can start with a minimum number of users and scale upward as demand for software increases.
On-Premise
(Perpetual Licence)
Carbon Insight is deployed on a server within your business’ IT infrastructure and is available through purchasing a three or five year perpetual licence.
Adopting a perpetual licence makes sense for businesses with unique needs, such as a large number of users or those with specific security requirements.
In this model, fees are structured on a per-server and are accompanied by annual support and maintenance fees.
Perpetual licences are payable in a once-off up front licence fee with subsequent annual support fees payable each year thereafter.
